Well, things are moving along quickly! Kyle and I just went to our 7 month OB appointment today and things went well. He helped to distract me so that I wouldn't be sick after drinking that "fruit drink" that they make you take before your glucose test. To me it was like drinking cough syrup and I did not like it! This week starts the every two-week doctor appointments.
Anyway, I have really been enjoying feeling Layla kick. She is DEFINITELY an active baby. She really likes to give me a couple of good kicks just as I am going to sleep at night. It doesn't ever annoy me, and I can't help but smile every time she does it. The other day Max (my 9 year old puppy - see photo, he is the black one) was laying across me and she gave him a good kick. I think that it confused him a bit so I tried to explain that it wasn't me that tried to shove him out of my lap. I think he will love her... Bella may try to eat her (see pic, Bella is a Corgi).
Kyle and I are super excited to hold her. We finally got a rug for her room and have picked out a crib for her. It is all becoming very real. Yippeee!!!
Lamaze class is in 2 weeks... We'll let you know how it goes.
